David Villaseñor (1967 – 2007) built a nearly 20-year career in artistic creation and commercialization. An intuitive colorist, his style was shaped by the so-called Mexican Painting School (inspired by Velasco and Tamayo), characterized by strong contrasts and organic brushstroke movements.
Today, the works are created by the late master’s daughter, Yazmín Villaseñor, who has inherited his sensitivity and love for art. She deeply honors and protects her father’s legacy.
Love for art, community, and Mexican culture is expressed in every one of our paintings. The vast variety of landscapes, tropical flora, and the elegance of our deserts offer stunning contrasts. Multicolored fruits with their whimsical shapes delight both the eye and the spirit
Perfect process in each painting.
Each painting is entirely handmade, starting with the stretcher frame. The canvas is mounted and prepared, forming the foundation of the artwork before any paint is applied.
From there, the drawing is carefully sketched, always paying close attention to detail to ensure perfection. Then, the painting is sealed with an initial layer for protection.
Finally, the oil painting process begins, following the original model. It is meticulously worked on until it is ready for the final detailing. Once completed, the artwork is ready to be delivered to its rightful owner.
